I have always loved puzzle-solving and problem solving, two things the field of Internal Medicine has in droves. I enjoy working with the students to break down and manage complex veterinary medicine cases with multiple problems. Students on the Internal Medicine rotation learn to apply their knowledge of physiology to provide excellent patient care and disease management. I strive to help them think through these kinds of complex cases in a non-intimidating and inclusive environment, and to ensure the best care for my patients by doing so.
