COVID-19 Update on Clinic Hours and Pet Appointments

March 17, 2020

Midwestern University has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic. Our top priority at the Animal Health Institute is the health and wellness of our clients, patients, students, staff, and the greater community.

As part of our COVID-19 response, new hours for the Companion Animal Clinic at Midwestern University will be 7:00am– 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, starting on Friday, March 20 and until further notice.

In light of the state of emergency declared at the federal and state level, the MWU Animal Health institute will be temporarily suspending all appointments and procedures for care that can be safely delayed. If you are scheduled for a non-emergent upcoming appointment or procedure, you will be contacted by a patient account representative to reschedule. This is a constantly evolving situation and we will provide updates as they become available.

Effective immediately, clients arriving at the Companion Animal Clinic for appointments and procedures are required to arrive at the front of the CAC and wait in their vehicle. A client service representative will meet you and give further instructions. Please do not attempt to enter the building unless your pet is experiencing a life threatening emergency.

Should your pet be experiencing an emergency, please contact the CAC directly at 623-806-7387 (PETS). We thank you for being a client at MWU Animal Health Institute and wish health and wellness to you and your pets during this unprecedented time.
