Midwestern University Welcomes Roberto Cediel, D.V.M., M.S.

Dr. Cediel is a small animal veterinarian in the small animal primary care service. He attended the University of Illinois where received his degree in veterinary medicine. After graduating, Dr. Cediel practiced in the suburbs of Chicago for five years and also served as the Head Medical Officer for Helping Paws Animal Shelter in Woodstock, Illinois. Prior to joining Midwestern University, he worked in general practice in St. Cloud, Minnesota for two years.

Dr. Cediel enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and has a strong interest in primary care, surgery, and dentistry. He enjoys client interaction and educating both English and Spanish-speaking clients. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Cediel enjoys spending time with his family and pets. He is an avid soccer fan and loves sharing his Colombian culture through music and dance. He loves to travel, spend time outdoors, and follows Formula One Racing.
